Showcasing 2022’s Cutting-Edge Winners

Discover the story behind this year’s winning photograph of a Triceratops leg at the opening night of the Art of Science exhibit.

The winning photograph, by Anton Oleinik, Ph.D., associate professor in Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, was one of more than 150 submissions to this year’s annual Art of Science contest – which, for the first time included videos.

Judges across the university’s colleges narrowed the submissions to just 15 winners. But, all submissions will be on public display in the gallery, which kicks off from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Join us and uncover how Florida Atlantic’s faculty, students and staff are showcasing cutting-edge research, scholarship and creative activity.
